Now I know that this is my shopping blog and not my corporate blog but I have to say that the dow jones finished today setting a new record. It reached an all time high for a single day jump. That is good news for all. It means that our economy might not be near as bad as it was looking yesterday. It also means that we are free to shop around as we want. Go ahead and spend it is okay.
I love to shop. I love to shop to the extreme sometimes is the problem. I end up finding a good deal and the next thing I know I have spent so much money I have to go out and get some sort of Cash Advance loan to cover the checks I wrote. I am not kidding I have an all out addiction to shopping. Truth is that if it was not for some of the cash advance and Payday Loan places out there I would probably bounce a lot of checks. I mean after all you have to get the stuff when it is on sale. Unfortunately, the sale dates typically do not line up with your payroll dates.
They are tons of shopping sites out there to find great deals online. The thing is that when you are looking for these sites you have to end up sorting through a whole bunch of garbage sites first. That is why I typically check around to find the best places first. If you are interested in buying in bulk there are lots of different wholesale and bulk places to purchase from. You can get things in bulk and get a great deal on it. If not you can find great auction places to buy stuff that is brand new and much cheaper than a lot of online stores.

My wife’s birthday is just around the corner and I have no idea what to buy her. I know that sounds bad but the thing is that she has everything she needs and most of the stuff she wants. Of course, the other stuff that she wants is far out of our price range so she will not be getting it anytime soon. Point is that I have to try and come up with something that she will like and is special and not lame, but at the same time not too expensive. Birthdays are never easy.

Macy’s is probably my favorite store out there to shop at. My wife and I both love the place. The products, the sales, pretty much everything about the Macy’s shopping experience. The problem is that since we moved to Florida the nearest Macy’s is almost 3 hours away. That is not good at all. So this week we are flying back to California to visit family and you can be sure that we will be making a nice long pitstop at the Macy’s there and shopping like mad.

I know that sounds crazy for most people. It sounds crazy to me too, but that’s what the wife is doing this weekend. She is such a Christmas nut that when she found out that there was some big Christmas decorating convention in Atlanta this weekend, she immediately called and got a hotel booked. That is what I like to refer to as extreme shopping. If you thought you like to shop then compare it to that and see how much of a shopoholic you really are.
Not sure if anyone else has seen this new Microsoft commercial or not but apparently Jerry Seinfield has just signed a deal to do some advertising for Microsoft, like they need it. I mean seriously, who doesn’t already know the Microsoft name. Point is that there is this new commercial out where Jerry and Bill are out shoe shopping together and although it is more than a bit silly it is also very funny. Not exactly the shopping experience most people get.
